An excellent opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor has arisen at our friendly family run business, flexible home working, up to date CPD training and regional work.
Fire Risk Assessor - job requirements include visiting sites and delivering full, detailed and comprehensive Fire RiskAssessments in the commercial, residential, care and education sectors, producing technical reports, provide remedial action, identify hazards and associated risks, provide guidance to remove or reduce the risks to an acceptable level, help guide clients through the necessary statutory requirements to ensure compliance and provide technical support
We will offer annual membership to a fire risk assessor register, technical support and assistance, 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
We are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor with excellent personal and communication skills and a want to progress in the fire sector, the position is suited to a Fire Risk Assessor who has a minimum of 2 years' experience, within the fire risk assessment sector and are capable of completing assessments on simple and more complex buildings.
Requirements:
Essential requirements for the job:
- A recognised fire safety qualification (NEBOSH, Fire Prevention Association or Equivalent)
- Basic IT literacy skills
- Good standard of written English to enable report writing.
- Smart presentable appearance
- Full British driving license
Desirable requirements for the job:
- Third party accreditation with industry recognised body i.e., IFE, IFSM, FPA
- Fire door inspection qualification
- Previous experience in carrying out Fire Warden Training

Schedule:

Experience:
Fire Risk Assessor: 2 years + experience in the fire sector (required)
- Familiar with PAS7
- A good understanding of Fire legislations, British Standards and fire related guidance documents
