About the Role:

Skilled Gardener
Hall Place, Bourne Road Bexley
Scale : BEX 04
Hours : 3 days a week Weekend and evening work required on a duty rota
We are looking for a knowledgeable part time Skilled Gardener at Hall Place to assist with the beautiful and much loved estate.
You will have knowledge and experience of horticultural practises and be keen to learn and have a great pride in your work.
Gardening duties will include all aspects of amenity horticulture and working on own initiative and guide volunteers.
You will have a passion for gardening and work to very high standards
Good Health and safety knowledge and understanding of use of machinery including tractor, ride on mower, pedestrian mowing, strimming grass areas and general lawn care.
You will be able to assist and answer any general enquiries made by the visiting public.
You will be knowledgeable, capable, hands on and have practical experience in professional gardening areas such as ; fruit and veg production, plant knowledge, mixed borders.
You will be required to work occasionally on your own and use initiative. You will also be required

- to work with other staff members and or volunteers.

Please note that the system has a one-hour time limit.
