Description

My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Drainage Design Engineer to join a team based in Belfast.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategiesand Residential Drainage or Sewerage Designs in respect of S104 and S106 using Microdrainage, AutoCAD or Causeway Flow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience managing projects.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and
Surface Water Management Plans.
Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy.
Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD, Causeway and Microdrainage for S104 and S10
Drainage Area Planning.
Civil Design using AutoCAD and PDS.
Liaison with Clients to ensure projects are running to time and budget.
Training and mentoring team members.
Checking and amending technical drainage designs using Microdrainage.
