• Have minimum NVQ level 2 in Childcare & Education

We are seeking someone who is capable, hardworking, cheerful, resilient and enthusiastic who enjoys working with children to join our dedicated classroom support team.

You will be working alongside the class teacher in a Year 2 class, teaching groups and supporting the children with their learning.

• Be a child-centred person willing to create, nurture and build trusting relationships, working alongside children, being a co-adventurer, communicating and facilitating learning
• Have an understanding of ways in which children learn and appropriate learning environments
• Have good communications skills
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Be enthusiastic, selfmotivated, creative and able to use their initiative.
• Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
• Be caring, understanding and patient
• Have an ability to keep pupils motivated and engaged and have an understanding of SEN
• Be a good team player.
