As an FE College offering a comprehensive range of animal care programs from domestic pets to exotic species, we pride ourselves on providing students with hands-on experiences and cutting-edge knowledge in the field of animal care.


As an Instructor at Shuttleworth College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of animal care enthusiasts.

Your boundless passion for animals and extensive knowledge of animal care practices will be instrumental in delivering engaging and transformative practical sessions.

Relevant qualifications and certifications in animal care or animal management (Level 4) will be highly valued.

Your ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner, paired with your nurturing approach, will be essential in fostering a caring and respectful attitude toward animals in our students.

Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services

  • 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for parttime
