Description
As Design Team Adminstrator you will work at the center of the Design Department, administrating and coordinating elements of the design process for New-build and Retrofit projects, across Domestic and Non-Domestic sectors.
You will be active in the full life-cycle of allocated designs, from scheduling and recording meetings, to administrating design information flows, collating predesign information, coordinating specialist surveys, and actively organising department filing systems.
You will liaise with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the design cycle, supporting the Design team and providing monthly reporting to the Design Manager.
Collating and tracking and project pre-design informationScheduling and arranging internal and external meetings
Issuing subcontractor purchase orders
Scheduling and coordination of project survey appointments
Review and maintenance of design project filing systems
Essential skills
- 65 WPM or higher.
- Highly organised.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer based communication.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Good attention to detail.
Desired skills
- Atleast 3 years experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of the construction industry
- Microsoft project experienced
