A primary school within Blackburn (BB1) are seeking an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team to cover a maternity leave.

The school is a single form entry school and have recently been inspected by Ofsted where they maintained their 'Good'status.

Pupils within school are from a mixed catchment area and behaviour is overall good within school. The Senior Leadership Team are keen to uphold their strong behaviour policy and sense of community within the school.

The head teacher has expressed that she is seeking an experience Teacher who has a wealth of knowledge within Key Stage 1 and the assessments that need to take place.

She is also looking for a teacher who can bring a sense of fun to the classroom and appliesa number of learning techniques to meet pupils individual needs.

The role is to start in April 2023 and run until December 2023, you would also be required to completenumber of handover dates before the Easter half-term, this gives the opportunity to meet pupils and other staff within school.

Essential criteria:

QTS status
Experience teaching Key Stage
Experience undertaking Year 2 assessments.
Strong behavior management

£140 - £180 (paid inline with AWR after 12 weeks)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
