Bell is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to coordinate and oversee the smooth running of key operations for Bell Young Learner Centres.

This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days in the office.

During peak periods, in the run up to the courses you will be required to work up to 5 days in the office or from one of our young learner centres.

A driving license is required.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Bell Young Learners transfer service including arrivals, departures and excursions
  • Coordinate the airport arrivals/departures team, emergency travel phone line and be on call when required
  • Supervise and manage the unaccompanied minor service
  • Manage Bell Young Learners study tours
  • Liaise with venues and negotiate group rates for Bell students
  • Monitor and record all expenditure and report as required
  • Manage and stock control essential programme resources and equipment
  • Manage systems for monitoring student numbers and facility availability
  • Collaborate on social programmes and timetables for Bell Young Learner courses
  • Ensure all precourse admin documents are up to date and completed as required
  • Provide logistics advice
  • Carry out visits to support, monitor, evaluate, quality control, review and develop programmes.
  • Represent the Young Learner department and Bell Educational Services at internal and external meetings and conferences
Essential

  • A levels or equivalent including English Language
  • Experience in logistics within the travel or tourism industry or experience working with young people
  • Good knowledge and ability with Office
  • Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Excellent data management and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and a problem solving approach to work
  • An interest in working with young people
  • Driving license
Desirable

  • Degree
  • Experience of the ELT or the education travel industry
  • Experience of working on seasonal residential English Language study and/or other holiday programmes.
  • Experience of having traveled or lived abroad for educational purposes.
  • Working knowledge of one or more languages other than English.
