    Description

    FI Real Estate Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management across a portfolio in a full-time, permanent basis.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial property, however we are happy to consider candidates who are already working towards their APC.

    We offer opportunities to develop and provide training and support from an experienced team.

    With a vast portfolio of commercial and industrial real estate spanning over 15 million sq ft and an additional 4.5 million sq ft in the pipeline, we're constantly growing and actively seek driven individuals to contribute to our success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process property management enquiries efficiently.
    • Take a proactive role in day-to-day property management with a strategic approach.
    • Assist with regular property inspections.
    • Develop key relationships with tenants.
    • Read and summarise leases.
    • Maintain lease data on the property management database.
    • Work with Senior Property Manager to plan for critical lease events.
    • Assist with licence to alters, assigns etc in a timely manner.
    • Help set and reconcile service charge budgets.
    • Manage service charge expenditure effectively.
    • Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely rent collection.
    • Ensure buildings are maintained through liaison with facilities managers.
    • Procure contracts across the portfolio.
    • Manage health and safety across the portfolio via Ligtas.
    • Collate and file statutory documents.
    • Manage insurance issues and claims associated with the portfolio.
    • Assist with refurbishments and minor refits.
    • Streamline handover of new build properties.
    • Assist with full handover process to incoming tenants.

    Requirements:

    • High attention to detail and organised approach.
    • IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
    • Good communication skills.
