Description

The opportunity:
In this role, you will effectively collaborate with
customer service, production managers and departments including
quality/technical and despatch to meet customer expectations and maintain our
internal KPIs. You will also form part
of the plant leadership team and support strategic initiatives for the plant
and the company, partnering with regional teams.

How you will impact


WestRock:

Expertly plan and schedule workloads to achieve maximum efficiency balanced with on time in full deliveries
Generate and sustain factory momentum through functional uses of the plan, monitoring plan adherence and communication of planning targets
Ensuring that customer services, repro and production departments are fully aware of changes in scheduling through structured communication
Successfully communicating dated deliveries to customer service within a 48-hour timescale
Playing a proactive role in weekly KPI meetings and providing detailed analysis to operations director, production departments, customer service and external contacts when required
Maintain key contact with material suppliers and support claims process providing relevant information


What you need to succeed:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to influence and build strong working relationships
Highly organised with a methodical approach to undertake tasks
Skilled in information handling, analysis, and presentation
Competent in using Microsoft Office packages
Green Belt Six Sigma Certification or willing to undertake the study
