Butler Rose are delighted to be assisting our client based in Ware to recruit for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing team This fantastic opportunity offers hybrid/remote working once training is completed, allowing you to work from the comfortof your own home or enjoy company in their modern work environment.

Responsibilities:

Process all invoices received from suppliers correctly
Ensure that each invoice processed is tagged for approval by relevant authorised individuals in the company and ensuring authorisers are chased as necessary
Ensure payments made to suppliers are processed in the bank and AP ledgers and the payment is matched to relevant invoices and credit notes
Escalating any supplier issues to the relevant department head
Assisting in the year end audit in relation to all AP queries
Assisting with other ad hoc exercises as and when requested

Requirements:

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics is essential
At least 2/3 years working in a similar role
