Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Account Administrator. As an Account Administrator, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices, verifying accuracy, and preparing payments
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accounting software (Xero)
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with monthend closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and financial reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting role is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Pay:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
