About the role:

We presently have an exciting opportunity within our Strategic Property Department for an Estates Property Delivery Officer.

Our Strategic Property Team are essential to keeping Powys Corporate and school buildings open and safe to deliver services to the residents of Powys.

There are training opportunities to build knowledge and experience in the property management and construction sector.


About you:


  • Ability to anticipate issues, make the best decisions for Powys, with competing priorities, resources and excellent analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Ensure that project budgets and timescales are managed effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills, be a good communicator and work well in a team environment and engage with key stakeholders whilst maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good negotiation skills and an ability to influence outcomes, with reasoning, persuasion and tact.
  • Ability to stay motivated, work without supervision, manage a diverse workload and heavy demands whilst adhering to tight timescales.
  • Ability to analyse issues, patterns and trends over time and to use this in service planning and delivery.

What you will do:

The role of Estates Property Delivery Officer will support the work of the team:

  • To deliver maintenance work and capital improvement projects are project managed on time, within budget and to a high standard across the Corporate Portfolio.
*Working with other property professionals within the Strategic Property department to effectively manage the delivery of premises and asset management in line with the Council's aims and objectives for the Council's Corporate portfolio.

Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£27,852.00-£29,439.00 per year

Hybrid remote in Llandrindod Wells
