The Role & Team

  • The role will be working within the Home Options Team, supporting the Homelessness Prevention Service, Housing Related Support Team, Home Choice Lincs and Affordable Housing. We are based at the Municipal Offices but this a blended role.
  • The Business Support Officer will work from a shared inbox, supporting a very busy and reactive service. There is a wide range of tasks, that will include engaging with vulnerable service users, partner agencies and suppliers as well as organising and attending multiagency meetings that will include minute taking.

About You

  • The applicant should be flexible, willing and able to work from home as well as from Council buildings and thirdparty services.
  • You should have excellent communication skills, both written verbal as well as being approachable, adaptable with a nonjudgmental approach. You will also need to have excellent time management skills as this role will deliver conflicting priorities and have experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of housing related services through a range of administrative and supportive tasks, assisting teams to prevent homelessness, support vulnerable people and provide housing opportunities.
