The role:


This position is at the heart of our busy warehouse, where we receive donations and prepare loads for customers' delivery.

The Warehouse supervisor will be responsible for organising and supervising the work of 8-10 people, warehouse assistants, van drivers, van assistants, and volunteers.

This job requires heavy lifting on a daily bases.


Duties & Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive,
and other tasks may be required):

  • Work closely with the Warehouse Team Leader and Head of Retail in the superstore to ensure the shop is well stocked and the collections are managed well.
  • Oversee the stock, ensuring enough supply is coming in to meet the store's demand and our commercial contracts.
  • Maintain the warehouse stock rotation
  • Cleaning, checking, and testing of the donations.
  • Fulfil large contracts to furnish housing association flats, ensuring the furniture is delivered and assembled.
  • Be responsible for the Health and Safety.
  • Ensure our social enterprise meets the
    Revolve standards for the sale of reuse goods and ensure compliance with waste management legislation.
  • Be a key holder for the warehouse.
  • Work with the Warehouse Team Leader to ensure that staff rotas and weekly duties are completed.
  • Ensure van checks are completed and any issues are reported to.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensure the van crew is keeping the vans tidy and clean
  • Ensure all staff have correct PPE and have full uniforms.
  • Maintained levels of supplies, ordering items when things ran out.
  • Keep the PAT testing area clear and up to date
  • Deputise for warehouse manager
  • Competent in Microsoft office programmes such as word, excel, outlook etc
  • Help with basic admin duties

The Organisation's
Offer to the Supervisor - EFI Warehouse

  • Induction and core training programme relevant to the role;
  • Regular support and supervision;
  • Annual appraisal and CPD action plan;

Terms & Conditions:


  • You are required to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am5 pm
- £25,800 per annum

  • 35 days annual leave entitlement rising to 40 days upon completion of 5 years' service.
