What we need

Our Assistant Post Producers
_ _are highly supportive and organised individuals who provide an exceptional and seamless level of service between Picture Shop's Production Staff, Operators and clients.

Excellent communication skills are key when working with colleagues and external partners at all levels. The ability to organise and prioritise the needs of the wider team whilst working in a deadline driven environment is essential to making this role a success, as is having a flexible attitude when coordinating multiple projects with conflicting deadlines

What we need you to do
At our facility based at Channel 4 we offer a range of short and long form editing solutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Post Producer to work closely with the existing Post Producers, Editors, Dubbing Mixers & Edit Assistants.

From the initial job request, through to the organisation of pulling and ingesting the necessary media, to sending approval files or ensuring broadcast files are processed on time our Assistant Producer will be integral in ensuring the facility exceeds the expectations laid out by Channel - Managing all bookings of copies, ingests, and exports.

Working to deadlines outlined by Channel 4, ensure all material is readily available for edit.
Liaising with Post Producers and Tech Op trouble shooting any issues or problems
Discussing and confirming upcoming schedules with the client at the end of each week
Assist with ADHOC tasks and look to improve workflows, as well as identify any issues affecting peak efficiency.

What Experience we're looking for

Working knowledge of scheduling software.
Experience of managing bookings of copies, ingests, and exports from a post production/TV production background.
Professional experience of working to deadlines as outlined by the clients/stakeholders
Experience of working with other post production staff to ensure all issues are resolved effectively
Confident and capable ability to communicate and clients/stakeholders.
Ambition and enthusiasm to learn and develop with the role
