Fox Morris are working with Southwark Council in relations to finding a Youth Justice Case Officer to start work ASAP

Responsibilities

Your experience can be either within Education, Social Care, Youth Justice or Youth Work. You will be skilled in developing relationships with adolescents that present a range of behaviours and needs in order to support them achieving with their education provision.
The role will require that you deliver targeted one to one or group sessions. You will be familiar with a variety of approaches, such as but not limited to, trauma informed practice, SMART planning, CBT, motivational interviewing.
You should be knowledgeable in the various issues that young people are currently faced with. You will have experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting.
The school day will start at 8:30am and finish at 3:30pm. When not at the school you will be supporting in various capacities delivering on service provision for young people working with the Youth Justice Service.
This may include delivery of programmes, supporting case managers with contacts, accompanying young people to appointments or on visits.
This may require some evening working up to 6pm.

You will be required to work Monday-Friday (9:00-5:00pm). This is based on a 6 month contract and the pay negotiable.
