Role:
Assistant Manager for Rehabilitation


Location:

Depending on location, the role will predominantly be based in one of the three services, with expectations to travel to between services in Fareham, Portsmouth and Bognor Regis.



Hours:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week which will be delivered by 5 shifts per week, 3 of which will be protected time for management duties depending on clinical and service needs


Salary:
£26,000 per annum


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, empathetic and reliable Assistant Manager to join our caring and committed team.


As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership to develop excellent and professional patient-centered care within the service and taking part in the development and implementation of policies to ensure the efficient and effectivemanagement of the residential home and supported living service.


These responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Delivery of quality service to meet the needs of all service users
  • Ensuring staff are equipped with the skills to undertake their roles
  • Participating in the delivery of the service which takes into account all of the day to day operational requirements
  • Deputising for the manager and be the responsible person in their absence

Skills required:


  • A good understanding of legislative frameworks and how this applies to the service needs
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and IT skills
  • The passion to work with vulnerable adults
