ABOUT YOU


You'll be an ambitious team player with technical and commercial skills, knowledge and experience to support the delivery of projects.

You'll be comfortable working with a high degree of independence to ensure technical quality and adherence to budget and programme.

You'll input to projects from desk study and feasibility through ground investigation and interpretation to final design.

Our experts provide one-stop access to services ranging from desk studies, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation (strategy development, design, implementation and validation), monitoring and close-out on a wide range of contracts.

ABOUT THE JOB
We're seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in our Glasgow office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that prioritise the welfare and wellbeing of our people.


Minimum Requirements

  • Proven understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.
  • Hands on experience within field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of soil, groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation activities.
  • Development of robust conceptual site models.
  • Qualitative and/or quantitative risk assessment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Clean driving licence
  • Willing to travel within the UK
