My client is looking for a talented Demand Planner to ensure our company's operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analysing inventory flow, and developingforecast models.

In this role you will work effectively in a team to develop and manage our planning processes and activities. Demand planning is the bridge between sales and operations. You will need to build cross-functional relationships to ensure delivery to our customersin-time and in-full, communicating and reporting effectively.

Location Wolverhampton, Monday to Friday, up to £34k,plus benefits 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, pension scheme, Health care cash Plan, plus much more.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Develop and continuously improve planning processes and activities.

Convert sales demand into operational and achievable production and material plans and schedules that optimally balance customer service, inventory, and operational cost efficiency.

Maintain and ensure accuracy of data.
Identify and take pro-active action to develop and improve planning activities.
Measure and report on production downtime.
Develop effective cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a demand planner.
Strong understanding of planning processes in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner and share information/new ideas with other team members.
Self-starter that can take initiative.
Possess strong organisational skills, be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
Strong working knowledge in ERP systems (especially NAV).

Be comfortable with some ambiguity and be willing to work beyond the strict wording of the job description to achieve business objectives.
