Head of Digital
I am currently partnered with a professional services membership body as they seek a Head of Digital. This role fits within the leadership team and reports directly into C-suite.

The Head of Digital will take the lead on their new digital transformation strategy that will add value to the wider business and external audiences.


The role:


The Head of Digital will enhance the strategic direction and establish effective structures and platforms to achieve commercial value from digital services, brand positioning, and member experience.

This is a technical but, more importantly, highly strategic role that requires someone who can work closely with and gain the confidence of senior stakeholders and deliver a digital strategy that ties into the wider business vision.

You will be responsible for various digital disciplines, defining and implementing digital strategic initiatives across the website, CRM, digital marketing, and systems, as well as leading and growing a small team.


This role requires an experienced digital leader who can provide clear direction, and inspire and influence leaders, individuals, clients, and teams at all levels to drive a positive, collaborative, and innovative culture while remaining true to organisation's brand and values.

You will have an established background in the delivery of transformation projects, encouraging best practices and providing direction to innovate and continually improve business systems, processes, and user experience.


Key responsibilities:


  • Lead and build a team of digital experts, working closely with leadership and stakeholders across the organisation to integrate a 'digital first' approach to deliver business objectives.
  • Develop and manage all CRM touch points encompassing the following marketing disciplines, website, SEO, social media, campaign landing page development, retargeting, marketing automation, retention strategies, and acquisition initiatives.
  • Influence and guide stakeholders, utilising data methods to build digital value, enhance practices, creating new and improved ways of working
  • Built close relationships and collaborate across the business and take lead on 3rd party agencies leadership.
  • Drive data led realtime optimisations of websites, marketing campaigns and digital servicing tools to deliver acquisition growth

Key requirements:


  • Previous experience working in a Digital leading role within a professional services firm
  • You'll bring the experience of designing, owning, and evaluating organisational transformations and delivering largescale digital change.
  • Proven experience in providing strategic and technical leadership to large complex organisations and building out teams from scratch.
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape and experience in bringing optimisation practices to an organisation to drive sustainable improvements in business performance
  • Must have prior experience reporting directly to Csuite, and overall business collaboration including, internal stakeholders, partners, and colleagues.
  • Previous knowledge of CRM systems such as salesforce and other digital systems and technology
