We help the elderly and less able to maintain independent living by offering a comprehensive range of adaptations in the home.

These include kitchen, bathroom and access adaptations, bespoke extensions, and interior re-design.

Adaptions are all we do, and this expert focus has enabled us to become one of the UK's largest specialised home adaptation companies.

From grant/funding issues and initial design through to final installation, we guarantee the smooth running of each project.


Job Summary


Supervise/lead and oversee the installation of all adaptations, primarily Kitchens and Bathrooms, advise operatives on each installation, and check that installations are carried out to the specification and the expected standards.

Check that the Health and Safety of each site are adhered to. Liaise with the client and your dedicated Contract Manager/Surveyor and QS on all aspects of the installation. Be on hand for technical advice for operatives. Ensure pictorial end-to-end images of the installation are uploaded daily to the "in-house" work management system. Assist the administrative planners with all upcoming work.

The nature of the work is forever evolving; to this end, training will be provided as and when required to perform your role.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
To lead a team of dedicated operatives and assist team planners in allocating work daily

Prioritise and re-schedule works to accommodate client needs

Attend site regularly to advise fitter/operatives on technical and finishings to each project.

Attend pre/post inspections, checking finishings and reporting any unforeseen works to the contract team for costing purposes.

Obtain a pictorial log of the project with daily uploads of pictures and notations as the work progresses.

Be able to advise on technical aspects of the installation

Assisting Contract Manager with ordering specialist materials in advance of works starting on-site

Update the contract manager on the scheme's omissions, additions, and any amendments in good time.

To Assist with preparing subcontractor's schedules and prices.

Excellent communication skills and self-time management are essential

Attend operational/Core meetings as and when required.

Ensure all staff and operatives adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Must be computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ensure all company policies are adhered to at all times

Ensure projects are completed in line with KPI requirements

Coach and advise operatives on good working practices.

Conduct disciplinary meetings when required.

Build and maintain good working relationships with client representatives


Ensure that operatives are dressed in Company livery, including PPE, that company vans are clean and tidy, and that ID passes are worn at all times.


Person Specification / Essentials Skills & Qualifications
Full UK driving Licence

Minimum three years of Supervisory role experience

Reasonably physically fit

IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to update via free issue tablet
