MTrec's New Opportunity;
The Job You'll Do;
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed and carried out correctly.
- Root cause analysis/fault finding on a diverse range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Carrying out efficient, effective, and safe repairs to machinery/plant to maximise uptime.
- Offering solutions on ways to improve downtime and also improve health and safety on and around machinery/plant.
- Working in a team environment and is also capable of working independently.
- Working to complement the skillset of the team of Maintenance Engineers.
- You will be part of a team which drives PM activity that results in downtime reduction.
- Working a 3shift pattern (6:0015:00, 14:0022:00, 22:00, 6:00).
- Working on call 1/3 weeks when on dayshift.
About you;
- Full apprenticeship or suitable experience in a similar role/environment.
- The company will consider Technicians/Engineers from either industry or the armed forces. It is essential you are able to fault find and repair breakdowns in a flexible and resourceful manner.
- The company have a large variety of equipment, many are bespoke and unique to their environment.
- They need a skilled maintenance professional who is able to resolve the problem and find solutions which might not be readily available or found off the shelf.
- They need someone who can get the job done, think proactively and fully support production.
- Have an understanding & knowledge of PLC and HMI instrumentation.
- You will be electrically biased with mechanical skills as a bonus.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Eager to develop your skillset.
- Ideally you will be HNC or higher qualified.
