Description

Semi-Skilled Labourer Friday and Saturday

Salary:
£11.25 PH plus overtime
To carry out your duties and adhere to all legal and safety requirements at all times

To report any additional defects found whilst working on the vehicle to the workshop controller at the earliest opportunity and record on job card

To record accurately all-time worked, parts used on the Job card during and immediately on

To ensure all paperwork is fully completed placed in the appropriate dockets/ files at each stage of the process

To follow all company procedures with regard to your work and duties

Give the best level of customer service and care at all times

Ensure that all tasks are carried out in the most efficient and economical way and avoid unnecessary wastage

To clean customer vehicles as required on wash bay

To keep the washbay area clean at all times

To collect parts from suppliers

To assist Technicians in collecting/returning customer vehicles

To keep all tools tidy and put away in the workshops

To remove, prepare all components ready for painting and refit afterwards

To assist with basic vehicle maintenance

Change lights bulbs

Check oils & water

Torque wheels nuts

To keep all external areas of Heathline free from rubbish and kept tidy and organized

To dispose appropriately all old parts/ consumables and tidy away equipment and tools at the end of each job

Skills and qualifications required:

A full driving licence (Class 2 preferred but not essential)

Knowledge of various commercial vehicles

Must have own tools
