Are you an immediately available Finance Officer looking for a part time role for 2 days a week? Are you passionate about helping others and would like the opportunity to work for an international charity? If so this part time Finance Officer role is the right role for you.


Reporting to the Finance Manager in your role as Finance Officer you will play an important part in ensuring that the finance team's transactional and operational duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Your day to day duties as Finance Officer will include;

  • Processing all purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices
  • Setting up payment runs
  • Processing all income
  • Completing routine reconciliation including bank and supplier statement reconciliation
  • Assisting with posting journals, accruals and prepayments
The skills that you will bring to the role Finance Officer will include;

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within a charity
  • Working knowledge of an accounting software such as Xero
- working knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables, Vloopk Ups

  • Understanding debit vs credit
  • Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping


This part time role will work 2 days a week and flexibility is given as to which two days the Finance Officer will work.

This can be a fully remote role for the duration of 4 weeks.
