Management Accountant

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our award-winning client are looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant who is highly organised, has a keen eye for detail and is able to meet deadlines along with having a proactive attitude.

This is a hands on role with responsibility for the company reporting, data analysis and forecasting to internal managers, maintaining tight control of the balance sheet and P&L.

The company are going through a fantastic period of growth and 2023 looks to be a record breaking year with multiple subsidiaries within the business.

If you have experience in financial reporting and controls in medium to large sized business this is beneficial.

Job responsibilities:

Produce Monthly Management accounts
Assist with preparation of budget & forecast schedules
Prepayments and Accruals, P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations
Commercial analysis on trends and business performance
Review of financial procedures and controls on an ongoing basis to ensure the smooth running of the business together with the FD
Analysis and investigating and Variances against project plans
Ad hoc support on Statutory accounts
Approachable and responsive to the needs of others
