Reports to Operations Manager


Location Office is based:
London Borough of Redbridge Council Head Office, Lynton
House, High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1NN.

You will be required to travel as required across Northeast London.


Salary £27,000 per annum


Care Providers' Voice
We are a
free network connecting all care providers across London.

The majority of our activities are currently in North East London.

Care Providers' Voice is a free platform created by providers, for providers, to:

  • Collate and provide RESOURCES for care providers
  • Ensure care providers are REPRESENTED
  • Support care RECRUITMENT

A care provider is an organization that providers care and support in care homes, home care, supported living and day opportunities. Our services cover all care providers across Northeast London.
Our partners include London Boroughs of Redbridge, Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Newham; Skills for Care; DWP;
Jobcentreplus; Care City; BHR CEPN, North East London Health & Care Partnership.


Purpose of Job

  • To increase the number of providers registered with CPV
  • To increase the number of providers using CPV services
  • To increase meaningful engagement with providers
  • To ensure all providers are on the local WhatsApp groups
  • To stimulate conversations on the WhatsApp groups
  • To organize and/or support provider forums as required
  • To work with the local authority to have effective provider meetings that are meaningful to providers
  • To work with the local authority to set the agenda for the meetings
  • To ensure a range of providers from different types of service are giving feedback
  • To do outreach to those providers who may not be as active as others (and may need additional support)
  • To arrange sessions to provide peer to peer group support to care providers
  • To deliver 121 sessions with care providers for a more intensive support
  • To improve and streamline engagement with care providers across the sector (i.e., care homes, home care, extra care, and supported living)
  • To strengthen provider relationships with partners as required
  • To promote the profile of social care
  • To seek improvements through a provider led approach
  • To embed some of the already ongoing recruitment and retention work done locally within broader sub
- regional approaches

  • To link potential providers in with others across the subregion and external speakers/programmes to improve practice
  • To contribute to the achievement of Care Providers' Voice objectives, particularly in relation to Employment,
Skills and Enterprise provision.

  • To promote collaborative working amongst Care Providers' Voice partners through information sharing and referrals.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience:

Good working knowledge of social care, health and local authority systems


Competencies:
