SUMMARY OF POST:

The role of Coordinator has many aspects and this document sets out the principal functions of the job.


It is not an exhaustive list of the tasks involved, but instead it is intended to be a guide to the type of work involved.


It is important that all employees of the company follow the rules, policies and procedures laid out in the staff handbook and in the 'policies and procedures' book which is kept in the office and available for any Coordinator to use.


The role of the Coordinator is to perform duties to facilitate our staff to work on runs that are with the area being worked and not to have carer's crossing over continually.

This allowing customers to live at home in a safe secure and comfortable way.

Salary dependent on experience, to be reviewed after successful completion of probationary period.

Essential

  • A good understanding of Microsoft office
  • Experience of CQC
  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Being available in emergency situations to help clients and colleagues

  • Experience in care provision.

  • Level 3 NVQ in health and social care

Office Tasks
(The role may involve some or all of the following. This is not intended as a complete list and is supplied for information only)

  • Oversee running of the Rotas to ensure everything is carried out within legal requirements and care is delivered in a safe, effective way.
  • Ensure records are being kept on a daily basis.
  • Record and process all compliments/ complaints, incidents/ accidents/ safeguarding.
  • Carry out staff disciplinary as and when required.
  • Monitor all work carried out by Supervisors, seniors.
  • Monitor Reviews for both clients and carers.
  • Assist the other Coordinator to complete rotas on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure Coordinator have informed all carer's of any changes on rotas.
  • Carry out all interviews for new carers. Keeping current/new personnel folders/online system up to date.
  • Attend any strategy/safe guarding meetings.
  • Attend any meetings arranged by the council.
  • On call duties as required.

Community Tasks
(The role may involve some or all of the following. This is not intended as a complete list and is supplied for information only)

  • Assist customers to get up, dressing and preparing them for their day
  • Toileting, assisting with use of commode, emptying commode.
  • Continence management
  • Assisting with prescribed medication
  • Preparation of meals and assistance with feeding
  • To keep accurate records of care visits.
  • To prevent the spread of infection by exercising good hygiene techniques
  • To use personal protective equipment to control and protect against infection
  • To follow all instructions contained in risk assessments
