About the role:


About the Team:


The People & Program Operations team is comprised of trusted consultants to our People Partners and the business leaders at Roku.

We are responsible for all aspects of the employee's journey while working at Roku, from onboarding through payroll to implementing, administering, and evolving compensation and benefits programs across Roku globally.


What you will be doing:


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding People systemrelated inquiries, issues, and requests
  • Proficient in navigating and utilizing Workday HRIS system for employee data management, reporting, and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Conduct testing, documentation, and validation of People system functionalities and configurations to ensure optimal performance, data accuracy, and compliance with organizational requirements
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledge resources to facilitate selfservice and enhance user experience
  • Provide training and support to People staff and endusers on HRIS functionalities, new processes and enhancements, and selfservice tools.
  • Input and update employee data, covering aspects like New Hire/Onboarding, personal updates, terminations/transfers, job changes, promotions/demotions, and maintenance of organizational structure.
  • Manage the daytoday administration tasks and fulfill basic report requests.
  • Provide employee and partner triage and escalation support for Workday and other relevant people systems.
  • Address, research, and resolve employee and partner questions related to system data, such as benefits, payroll, and personal information, serving as a resource for inquiries and clarifications
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, including proper approvals, assist with HRIS data cleanup efforts, and conduct regular system audits
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive employee information and HR matters.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the People Operations leadership team, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

We're excited if you have:


  • 23 years of People Operations or People Generalist experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have experience utilizing an HRIS system, Workday preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills, followthrough, and attention to detail
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
