Our Leading Global Enterprise client is hiring a Consultant experienced with Dell Data Domain technologies to work onsite with their customer.


Start Date:
March 2024

Duration: 7 Months (initial work needs to be completed by end-September 2024)

Rate:
up to £460 per day (please note this is a PAYE engagement, Employer NI is paid for by the client)

IR35 Status:
Inside

Location:
Farnborough with some travel to various client sites required.

NOTE:
Active SC Clearance is highly desirable._

Work to be done:


  • Existing production DD9800s will be replaced with DD9900s. Six additional zSeries mainframes will be purchased to parallel the Production in the new "PLE" environment. DLMs & DD9900s will be purchased likewise.
  • Followon residency to support clients MTree splitting 6 months Process (for all environments):
  • Implement new DD9900s (ProDeploy)
  • Connect DD9800s to DD9900s and start trickle copy of data (12 months)
  • Poweroff DLMs and DDs. Disconnect DD9800s and Connect DD9900s to DLMs Poweron and Test. (4hr outage).
