Description

An opportunity to join an established Electronics company based in West London.

You should have at least 5 years' experience of electronics design and software developments, you will need a good engineering background with knowledge of design processes and best practises, having previously designed circuit and developed software andintegrating these into mechanical housings to be tested to specified test plans.

An appreciation of mechanical interface although not essential will be advantageous.

You will be required to be competent in using PCB and Software design tools.

You will work As part of the engineering team and will be required to work through designs from initial specification.

Essential Experience:

Experienced, qualified electronics engineer, working in a manufacturing company
Good understanding of analogue circuits and design principles
Circuit Design analogue and digital as well as PIC microcontrollers using Altium schematic capture and layout
Able to program; Write and debug code for PIC 8 bit & 16 bit microcontrollers in Assembler and C language.
Design for ease of manufacture and assembly
Able to benchmark / reverse engineer and analyse circuits
Experience with test and instrumentation equipment.
Able to work to project deadlines
Good team player and good communicator
Able to discuss projects and support customers and suppliers.
Averse with latest electronic developments in component format
Keen attitude to solve problems and offer solutions

An Advantage:

XC8 & XC16 Compilers
Microchip development tools
PC-Lint and SIL compliance
Knowledge of hazardous location electronics
Design of electronics used in wide temperature range products.
