Role synopsis:
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Painter & Decorator to join our team here at Pinewood Studios Group.
In this role you will work directly for the Estate Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for the redecoration, maintenance and uplift of Pinewood's facilities to ensure they are in suitable condition for hire.

Key accountabilities:
- Assist the Facility Services Estate Maintenance Supervisor in the safe, efficient and effective redecoration of Pinewood's facilities.
- Carry out professional standard preparation and decoration of Pinewood's facilities (walls, ceilings, woodwork metalwork internal and external as required).
- Support the other members of the refurbishment team with nondecorating duties as required to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work in accordance to company policies, procedures and requirements (including Health and Safety, Human Resource, Legal etc.).
- Ensure staff expectations and behaviours are met and the team's equipment and tools are maintained and used correctly and safely.
- Ensure all PPE is available and is worn at all required times.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by line management.
Essential criteria:
- City and Guilds / NVQ level 2 in Painting and Decorating or proof of time served apprenticeship / on the job training with current references.
- Customer service driven.
- Desirable commercial industry experience.
- Selfmotivated and effective time manager.
- Excellent ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Strong team player and orientation towards teamwork.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and confidence skills.
- Reliable, tolerant, determined and flexible
- Computer literate in MS Office 365 and usage of PDA to record timesheets / job status (training provided on specific system).
Desirable criteria:
- Understanding of Asbestos Awareness.
- Any Plastering, Rendering or Tiling qualification to detail the applicants ability to install and repair ceramic wall or floor tiles, skim plastering finishes and render plastering finishes to walls and ceilings.
- Any additional trade qualification in Carpentry or General Maintenance which can assist the team in meeting objectives.

- 25 days' holiday as standard with the option to buy 3 additional days, plus English public holidays.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
