Description

Freelance Sub Agent required with an immediate start to work across two sites in Loftus and Redcar which should last up to 9 months.

You will primarily be involved with all aspects of engineering alongside managing groundworkers, ordering materials and working closely with the Site Manager.

Alongside the site team, you will initiate continuous improvements to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

This will ensure the customers' expectations are met, whilst aligning activities within industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting out works.
Assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.
Assist in the recording and ordering of materials, i.e., drainage, retaining walls etc.
Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
Regularly check the setting out points.
To manage the on site team and act as right hand man to the on site manager.
Responsible for providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control, to ensure accurate construction of the work.

Skills and Experience
Educated to degree standard in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
An appropriate and valid CSCS / CSR card.
Full Driving License.
First Aid at Work.
Familiar and works with RAMS and 3 day look up.
Previous experience in one or more of Roads & Bridges, Water and Pipelines.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
