Permanent - Full Time, 35 hours per week
We have big goals over the next few years.
We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.
Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.
As Mind's expert advisor in relation to Safeguarding, this role will be the first point of contact for Safeguarding issues (including self-harm and suicide) as well as leading on projects to improve our Safeguarding policies and practices.
We're looking for someone who has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of UK Safeguarding legislation and standards of best practice for Safeguarding, and who has extensive experience of responding to Safeguarding and at-risk concerns.
You'll have strongverbal and written communication skills and be able to quickly establish personal credibility and develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
As our Safeguarding Manager, you'll have experience of effectively supporting the development and implementation of robust Safeguarding processes in a large and complex organisation and be able to consult and negotiate with external agencies to reach bestoutcomes for individuals.
