The PA role is an essential part of the office and requires someone happy to get stuck in to a wide range of duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements in a multitimezone environment.
  • Liaise with external partners and business guests as appropriate to organise meetings.
  • Book cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation in accordance with the Company policy.
  • Inbox management.
  • Prepare agendas, packs and presentations. Take minutes and action points.
  • Assist in organising, budgeting, managing and hosting internal and external events.
  • Build office culture by helping to organise teambuilding events, volunteer activities, speaker presentations, etc.
  • Cover the main visitor reception from time to time.
  • Collaborate closely with other PAs.
  • Manage marketing activities throughout the calendar year to promote Weir Minerals.
  • General administration including, printing, binding documents, ordering stationery, mail handling, maintaining logs and tracking spend.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You'll be extremely well organised, with high levels of integrity, discretion and initiative.
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • You will have demonstrable ability of building strong relationships with senior leaders and colleagues across all levels of the business.
  • You are experienced in prioritising and delivering a workload received from a number of senior executives, with mínimal direction.
  • You make timely decisions using independent judgment.
  • You are extremely comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet research
  • You are patient, approachable and flexible, with a mature outlook and the diplomacy to reach effective work solutions with varied personality types.
  • You have a bias for action, are resourceful and able to find opportunities, propose solutions, and drive execution
  • You are passionate about learning and continuous improvement
  • Your experience of delivering work to very high standard at pace and under pressure, whilst maintaining confidentiality and positivity, are all things that will set you apart.

  • Competitive Salary
