The
Upex Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient
Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team.

As an
Kitchen Assistant/Cook, you will work closely with our Head Chef and culinary team to prepare and execute high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Location:
Addlestone

Kitchen Assistant/Cook Pay Rate:
£12.82 per hour

Kitchen Assistant/Cook Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 09:00am to 14:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Assisting in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef.
Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
Following recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in all dishes.
Collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Supporting inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Contributing creative ideas for menu development and specials.
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred.
Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
