Sales & Account Management
- Lead on income generation
- Build the annual income forecasting and budgeting plans, setting sales targets and performance measures, analysing financial and sales data, and reporting on these
- Reduce customer churn, looking at innovative ways to retain customers through delivery of excellent experiences and outstanding customer service
- Take a proactive and creative approach to new business, actively seeking to expand existing networks and pursue leads with relevant people and organisations
- Manage customer relationships from point of sale, providing exemplary account management throughout the customer life cycle
- Lead on the marketing strategy to support revenue targets and generate wider awareness
- Build the profile of the charity in the local area, including local press, promoting to business communities, education organisations and liaising with intermediary organisations
- Proactively pursue marketing and advertising opportunities, including attendance at sector events, on site events, placing adverts in magazines / literature, online listings, radio etc
- Lead on the optimisation of digital content and SEO, as well as the implementation of Google Ads
- Review insights data to improve digital experiences, increasing reach and engagement
- Lead on market and customer research, running surveys and creating case studies
- Champion the use of technology and data to support sales, account management, and marketing, building on initiatives across the organisation to evolve and roll out new systems
- Lead an efficient and highperforming sales team, ensuring all areas of responsibility are run effectively, maintaining an excellent customer experience
- Effectively linemanage and support the development of your team through regular 121s, reviews and annual appraisals, including working on their personal development
- Encourage and motivate your team, assisting with mentoring and training where required
- Creating and executing sales and marketing strategies, both B2B and B2C
- Strong commercial and tactical sales and marketing acumen
- Demonstrable track record in new business development, lead conversion and income stream diversification
- Key account management, stewardship, and business retention
- Increasing turnover through sales and marketing initiatives
- Management and forecasting of income budget and targets
- Delivering both traditional and modern digital marketing initiatives to support sales
- Use of CRM systems, such as Salesforce, to manage accounts and provide insights
- Website content management
