SIMICO plc, the head of minerals mining group of companies is looking for an experienced Assistant / Admin, an open minded individual of broad spectrum and highly positive attitudes to support the Directors in our London engagements.
Preferably with legal or administrative background.
Successful applicant will be in charge of ensuring smooth running of day-to-day operations, as well as Executive Assistant duties for our Chief Production Officer.
This initially part-time position will have 20 working hours per week from 10.30am to 4.30pm with a one-hour lunch break at 1pm, Monday to Thursday.
Requirements:
- minimum 3 years proven experience in a PA / EA / Admin or an Office Assistant role
- outstanding organisation skills
- proven secretarial and administrative capacity
- ability to prepare business correspondence, employment contracts and various agreements (general samples may be provided)
- professional telephone manner and communication skills
- friendly and outgoing personality
- ability to professionally arrange meetings, organise and coordinate events
- on behalf of the Board managing and supervising a team of the agents and presenters
- organising transport, bookings and reservations
- very smart, professional appearance
- understanding the paramount importance of reliability, trustworthiness, loyalty and strict confidentiality
Daily tasks:
- you will be covering the first point of contact for all enquiries and visitors on all levels
- making queries, performing researches, collecting and processing gathered information
- organising meetings rooms, booking hotels, transport and flights
- preparing memos for meetings, business presentations, advertisements, contracts and agreements
- with the accuracy and attention to detail preparing business communication
- filing documents
- managing communication with the agents, contractors and stakeholders

£12.50-£16.00 per hour
