As a General Operative based at West Calder Block Plant you will enjoy working in a 'hands on' practical position within a busy environment alongside a close-knit group of colleagues
You're not someone who likes to sit back and let others do the work for you; the more proactive you are in this role, the more you will get in return.
Initially, you will learn the dry-side of the process before progressing to the wet-side, where you will be responsible for producing concrete products.
As our next General Operative, you'll be responsible for the daily inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the block plant whilst placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management you will be a leading contributor to the Company's zero harmculture.
