The Role


Major Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced
Business Development manageronbehalf of our clients based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.

The role is a full time permanent position based in the office in West Bridgford.

This very varied, exciting and interesting role of Business Development Manager.


The key focus of the role will be to support the businesses aims in developing new accounts in targeted sectors and geographic locations.

We have key areas that we have strong knowledge and expertise and a developed back office to support sales growth, specificallythey are, Food Manufacturing, Distribution, Manufacturing, the Care Home Sector and Healthcare businesses as well as developing our business operations around the UK.

We are looking to recruit a focussed experienced business development manager to:


  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, with new prospect development
  • Develop a clear pipeline of prospects
  • Implement and manage your own pipeline within the companies CRM
  • Identify and pursue strategic and sales objectives
  • Ensure prospecting activities remain on time and within a defined target area
  • Develop the role with an eye on how we develop as a national brand

By:

  • Calling new prospects and build pipeline
  • Managing CRM database with clear tasks
  • Meeting with new prospects and develop sales
  • Attending new business opportunities, meetings, networking, trade shows, exhibitions etc
Full time working hours.

Role is to start urgently.


Your Profile
In order to be considered for this position you must have:

  • Experience in sales and or sales management
  • 2+ years' proven experience in a field sales role
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Experience at business negotiation processes
  • Environmental, FM or B2B sales
  • Clean Driving License

The Salary
£33,000 BASIC salary per annum


PLUS Benefits, Pension, Annual Company Bonus, Company Car (Or Car Allowance), Sales Commissions OTE £50,000
