About Tozer House:
Tozer House is a friendly, welcoming and forward thinking residential & short break service for adults who have learning disabilities within central Chichester.
Tozer House accommodates 15 people across two separate buildings, each of which has separate adapted facilities.

About The Job Salary**:
£18,333 per annum (£3964 per annum, pro rata)

We're looking for one Housekeeper to work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that the general cleanliness and hygiene of the home is of the highest standard
This is an active role, for example, you will be lifting or carrying buckets of water, pushing or pulling vacuum cleaners and trolleys, and rubbing or scrubbing surfaces and windows
As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining the home to a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Clean all residential rooms including communal areas, offices, kitchens, and bathrooms from top to bottom.
- Complete simple records and returns as required.
Experience and Skills Key Skills**:
- Ability to undertake a wide range of cleaning tasks.
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with service users, staff and visitors at the centre.
- Ability to have a flexible approach to allocated duties and work as part of a team.
- Ability to be sensitive to the needs of the service users.
Qualifications and/or experience:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations. Desirable
- Experience of using a range of cleaning equipment including powered equipment. Desirable
- Experience of working as a cleaner in paid employment. Desirable
