Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician team:


As a Manufacturing Technician, you will have excellent communication skills and work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, to be part of a team and respect the opinions of others.

You will possess the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipswith various networks of people.


What you'll be doing as a Manufacturing Technician:

  • You will be going through the use of defined manufacturing processes and current production plant and equipment, produce a variety of standard products to an agreed production schedule

Likely tasks include:

  • Use of plant and equipment to compound and press Rubber and Resin based sheet materials.
  • Use of Plant and equipment to produce Resin based products.
  • Manufacture of Composite component and shapes through the use of Resin Preimpregnated fabrics.
  • Adhering to safety practices.

Your skills and experiences as a Manufacturing Technician:

Essential

  • Industrial experience is desired in a Mechanical or Process Engineering environment, particular experience with polymers & composites in the aerospace / defence / automotive would be advantageous
  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively with others, to be part of a team and respect the opinions of others
  • Able to follow Manufacturing Process documentation procedures
