Mon-Fri 8.00am5.00pm (40 hour week), overtime hours may be available

The Company
We are a specialist timber frame manufacturer who design and manufacture timber framed buildings.

The Role
We are currently seeking a Timber Framer in our workshop. Duties include assisting with the construction of bespoke timber frame panels in our facility.

Cutting timber using a chop saw/ CNC saw and moving timber under the supervision of a senor operative.

Typical duties will include:

Cutting, moving, building and assembling timber frame structures
Storage and warehousing of finished product

Essential qualities:

Experience of using chop saws / CNC saws would be beneficial
Forklift license would be highly beneficial
Good practical and creative skills
An organised, safe approach to work
Good quality standards and attention to detail
The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Flexible approach
Must be able to work well under pressure and work at pace
As an Assembler you will be responsible for the assembly of all products from cut component packs and adhering to industry accuracy parameters as requested by the line manager/supervisor.

Requirements:

Able to read from drawings (or a willingness to learn)
Ability to use hand tools, nailers and measure accurately.
Previous timber frame experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous

Salary:
From £21,000.00 per year
over the age of 23 (salary to be discussed at interview stage)
