Mechanical Design Engineer
Location:
Oxford, Oxfordshire
Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000
Premier Group are looking to bring on a Mechanical Design Engineer, into an expanding Engineering team within the aerospace industry
The Role:
- Plan mechanical design and drawings
- Attend project meetings with the design team
- Ensure all drawings and design adhere to company and industry standards
- Support the analysis team
- Create and maintain documentation
- Design for manufacture while keeping the ease of manufacture, assembly and integration are at the forefront
- Peer review design work
- Work with the wider engineering departments
- Take part in project reviews
Requirements:
- Degree within Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
- 2 years' experience within a highly regulated industry
- Proficient with CAD packages
- Familiar with FEA analysis
- Ability to work within a team and across departments
