About the role


You will be responsible for the physical security of the Hargreaves Lansdown offices in the UK, as well as taking an active interest in the security of our office in Europe.

You will be responsible for physical security protocols and guide in their continual improvement, as well as helping to develop strategies and security systems used by the business and its employees.

The role

You will plan, develop and oversee daily security operations including necessary recruitment Amend and communicate security policies and procedures. Input into the security strategy for our business.

Plan annual budget for the team for inclusion in Facilities budget Produce KPI's for the team and report on training and development.

Work with the building management team to coordinate our response to emergency events and planning. Ensure H&S policies and procedures are followed and work with the H&S advisor on risk assessments where necessary. Collaborate with other teams in the business (SOC and InfoSec) and react to information or intelligence gathered. Consider new solutions for the business to adopt, and update existing systems to ensure we stay at the forefront of security technologies

Working pattern

This role is a hybrid of office and home.

To begin with, we are looking for you to be based in the office 3 days a week with the remaining 2 days from home.

This may be open to change in the future. Working hours are 37.5 hours a week, 8-4 or 9-5.

About you

You will be confident working under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Experience as security manager or similar role Experience with onsite security systems including access control systems and CCTV. Previous leadership and line management experience. Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.


Qualifications:

Level 5 Security Risk Management

Close Protection Operations - UK SIA Licence

Security Institute BTEC Level 3 Security Management

Security Institute Level 7

IOSH Health & Safety qualification

Interview Process- Two stage process.
