**Senior Mechanical Engineer - £45k-£55k - Buckinghamshire - Precision Instrumentation
**My client is a market leader in developing high-tech precision instruments for a range of different industries. They're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who can take ownership of projects, have a strong technical input into product development,design sub-systems & bespoke assembly jigs and fixtures.


Main Duties:


  • Lead the mechanical design of new products
  • Full product lifecycle development
  • 3D CAD design
  • Prototype & test designs
  • Precision component & mechanism design
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team
**Skills & Experience Required: **+ Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience

  • Experience in taking concepts through to production
  • Strong 3D CAD skills - Ideally Solidworks
  • Precision engineering background
  • Experience in different manufacturing techniques
  • Experience in developing scientific instruments would be beneficial
The salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available including flexible working hours, private healthcare and working from home.
