We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sandwell for a First Contact Administrator to be part of a central contact and administrative team.

This is a full time, permanent role and offers a salary of £20,167 - £22,320.42


Main Duties:


  • Responsible for taking calls and field as appropriate to the relevant service or staff member.
  • Responsible for delivering an effective system of first contact, care and support to clients who are victims/survivors of abuse; this includes gathering information regarding the client and their circumstances and assessing requirements for support.
  • Effectively communicate with clients over the phone in a manner and pace that is appropriate
  • Manage high volume of calls.
  • Gathering information regarding the victim/survivor and their circumstances effectively managing referrals and queries from partner agencies.
  • Accurate recording of the client/ agency details on the BCWA case management system and prepare case files ready for allocation.
  • Assess risk and provide tailored support plans for service users
  • Provide support for survivors of abuse using a trauma informed approach.
  • Deliver efficient and organised administration.

Essential Requirements:


  • Educated to minimum Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing a high volume of calls.
  • Experience of working in a professional environment.
  • Experience in providing timely response to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Efficient and organised.
