Monday - Friday
Week 1:
- Hours 8:30 am to 12.30 pm
Week 2:
- Hours 1 pm to 5.00 pm
Northumbria Technical Services Ltd T/as UK Service is a leading award-winning, locally owned and operated domestic appliance service repair centre in the northeast.
We have been operational for over 30 years and possess a wealth of experience and knowledge in the domestic appliance field and are able to repair virtually all appliances whatever the make and model.
At times you will be required to assist our Whitegoods Service Engineers on their field service duties.
**Duties:
- **Answering the telephone to make appointments for our engineers to repair customers' domestic appliances that have developed a fault.
Giving usage advice to customers on their appliances to avoid the necessity of sending an engineer while the appliance is under the manufacturer's guarantee.
Ordering replacement spare parts for engineers.
Liaising with manufacturer customer services, insurance companies, suppliers and other departments.
Warehouse duties.
Receiving orders, unpacking and inspection. Receiving purchase orders on the computer. Picking. Inspection and packing. Allocating and issuing Engineer's orders. Inspection on goods in. Inspection on goods out. Updating returns database/relevant paperwork. Stock control. Stocktaking. General housekeeping.
You may be required to work in other areas of the business, such as:
Assisting our Field Service Engineers with heavy lifts, also delivering items to them.
Counters sales.
Cash handling.

£10.42 per hour
