Casual Support Worker


Location:
Newham Outreach Services


Hours:
Zero hour contract (Mon-Sun, including weekends, evenings, holidays, waking nights and sleep-ins)


Salary:
£12.53 per hour inclusive of holiday pay or, £11.18 per hour exclusive of holiday pay

Advance is looking for Casual Support Workers in
Newham to support customers with Learning Disabilities/ Autism/ Complex needs/ mental health conditions to live the lives they choose.

Day to Day Activities:


  • Personal care (If Required)
  • Medication administration (If Required)
  • Support to prepare and cook meals
  • Support to attend medical appointments
  • Support with social activities
  • Support with independent skills
  • Support to maintain living environment

Waking Night Activities:


  • Personal care (If Required)
  • Medication administration (If Required)
  • Support to prepare and cook meals
  • Support with social activities
  • Support with independent skills
  • Support to maintain living environment
You don't need to have previous experience working in care or support to be successful in this role.

What matters are your values, your passion and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with Autism or learning disabilities.

Whether you want to work a few hours a week, or full-time, if you think a Casual Support Worker role sounds right for you, you will need to be:

  • Flexible to work on a rolling rota
  • Good at working on your own and within a team
  • Excellent at communicating with people
  • Able to complete good quality support records
