Description

Metalis are working with a well established company based in Sheffield, who manufacture components for a range of different industries.

They are currently recruiting for Maintenance Fitters to join their team on a days regular basis.

The role assist in the maintenance and repair of company machinery and equipment, adhering to health & safety requirements.


Duties:


  • To maintain, service and install all existing equipment in a professional manner.
  • To assist in the relocation or installation of new or existing machinery.
  • Communicating with senior managers for areas of improvement and modifications to machinery.
  • Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines at all time.
  • To respond to machinery breakdowns with machinery and carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Apprentice trained in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Aware of health & safety requirements.
